I wonder what the hens would think if they knew what we did with all those eggs we keep taking from them.

During Easter here in Sweden we consume approximately 2000 tons of eggs. On Holy Saturday evening (which is the main day of our Easter celebrations) we eat about 6 miljon eggs an hour. This is according to Svenska Ägg (Swedish egg producers accociation).

The original painting was made with watercolors and ink on a size A5 (14.8 x 21 cm or 5.8 x 8.3 in) watercolor paper.
